Meet the 2018-2019 PTO Board

Janene and her husband Kerry have been married for 15 years, and have 3 children. Emma, 6th Grade, Lillian 3rd Grade and Jacob, who is 4 and in preschool. When she can break away from the Mom role, she enjoys meeting up with friends and being able to talk without interruptions. She is currently a paralegal for Husker Law where she has been employed for the last three years.
Janene has actively been a part of the PTO for the last three years, since moving to the Bennington School District from Saddlebrook Public School. She is active as a Room Parent for both girls and enjoys attending events at the school. She has also helped with the Craft Boutique and Staff Appreciation Week. This is Janene’s second year serving on the board. She is open to suggestions especially fundraising and hopes to have a wonderful and productive year! If you see her around school please introduce yourself! She is looking forward to meeting more Heritage parents, though admits that she is horrible with names, so you may be introducing yourself a couple times. ;)

Chelsea is a mom of 3 daughters: Rilynn 2nd grade, Reese 5 year preschool, and Landry 2 year old stay-at-home kid. She and her husband, Darrin, have been married for 10 years and moved from Texas to Bennington in 2014. In 10-minute intervals between someone needing a snack and sibling brawls, she enjoys taking obnoxious numbers of photos of her children, over-analyzing the family budget, hanging out with friends and family, cooking yummy meals her kids will hate, and organizing and tackling house projects.
Chelsea has been a stay-at-home mom since 2013 and stays busy volunteering and running around for the kids sports and church activities. She was involved in Rilynn's classroom and school events at Heritage last year. They met a lot of great people last year during the family's first year at Heritage Elementary and she looks forward to serving as Vice President this year.

Amy is a mom of two children: Jaxson, 8 (3rd grader) and Keltie, 4. Amy and her husband, Mike, have been married for 13 years and have lived in Bennington for over 4 years. Amy has enjoyed serving on the PTO Board.
Amy has been an attorney for 13 years and is a partner at White & Jorgensen. She also teaches Sunday School at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington.
In her down time, she enjoys playing games with her kids, going for walks, reading and hanging out with family and friends.

Terri is a mom of one 3rd grader Enzo. She has been married to her husband Tim for 9 years and they have lived in Bennington since 2010. Terri is currently an Associate Accountant at First National Bank where she and her husband have both worked for the past 12 years!
Terri has enjoyed volunteering for the Heritage PTO and looks forward to serving on the PTO Board for the first time.

Jackie is mom to Jackson who is 1st grader. She and her husband, Jesse, of 8 years have lived in Bennington for 3 years. Jackie works at Nebraska Medicine in Patient Relations. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family-from watching Jackson play soccer to wearing out their Goldendoodle, Jagger with endless games of fetch. If it involved being outside in the summer, you can find the Genovesi family there! Jackie is looking forward to a wonderful year ahead for both parents, kids and staff!
